Birch Stump
in Plants
Forgive the wonky photo...we have this poor birch tree round the front that a previous owner hacked down but still left a ~4ft stump. There are plenty of suckers that have grown to form a small shrub for the time being.
Until I decide to have someone dig the entire thing up and actually plant something suitable for the areas, anyone have any suggestions as to what to do with it? Thinking just to cut the stump down to a lower level so it's at least hidden and just maintain the remainder as a compact shrub to fill the space with some green.
Unless someone has creative ideas of how the stump could be used for something outside the box?
