Broccoli - too late to sow?

GrajeanGrajean Posts: 447
Not grown broccoli before but have some spare ground. Is it too late to sow or would young plants be better if I can find any? Thinking purple sprouting.

    I’d give it a go. 😊

Plenty of time for purple sprouting or any fairly fast type for that matter, I'm still sowing for harvest in September at the moment.

i have just collected seeds from my PSB plants to sow some now (or as soon a sit cools a bit) and save some for later too and I have also just planted some plugs of ordinary green broccoli.

give it ago but not if you're in the middle of a hot dry heatwave.
