Do I need to deadhead them to prolong flowering or do most people just leave the seed heads?
If I do cut them, is it back to the next leaf or just the flower head?

perennial cornflowers will often reflower if you just take the head off and water well. There is usually another flower bud about an inch below the main flower.

Thank you. I think my ones are annuals but I guess the routine is the same for deadheading.
