How to rid clover from lawn

Any tips on getting rid of clover in my lawn. Its taking over.

    I agree with @Chris-P-Bacon … I’ve scattered white clover seed into my lawn … it stays green during dry spells and we have happy bees. Just don’t cut too short.

    From a wildlife perspective I agree with the above comments.
    However if you really want to rid your lawn of clover and other weeds then use one of the many Weed and Feed lawn care treatments available as both a liquid and granules.
    My lawn is full of weeds too, but I have dog so the lawn was sacrificed years ago anyway and I don't bother and it looks fine - from a distance :)

    clover also " fixes " nitrogen in the soil. 
    I'd leave it too.
    Unlike  " weed 'n' feed " it won't do your dog any harm either

    You can borrow my OH he thinks anything that doesn't look like grass shouldn't be there so cuts it, I have given up  :'(

    I would love clover in my lawn!  I'm in the leave it camp!
