Need some Magnolia help

Hi looking for a bit of advice. I bought a magnolia Charles Henry Kern a few weeks ago. Its been in same pot whilst iv been getting its planting place ready. Watering kept under control etc. Its now covered in leaf spot. Looks healthy otherwise but what started as spots on a few leaves is now all over the plant. Was bought from a reputable vendor.  Should i be concerned?  Thanks

Sorry no ideas what the problem is.
But IF it was mine and bought recently I would take it back with my receipt and ask for a new one or a credit note/refund.

If it has been dry outdoors recently, it could be sooty mold, which is unsightly but harmless (though could indicate an insect problem - check for bugs). This may rinse off with a strong spray of water.

If it's been rainy or humid, it's more likely to be fungal leaf spot. Neem oil helps, but you need to be diligent in spraying over a period of time to "starve" the fungus.

"Bumping" is when someone adds a reply just to bump your post back to the top of the recent posts view (the view that most regular posters probably use).
