Petunia (tumblina) not thriving

One window box is thriving. Yet the other is another story. I’m now on my second plant and it’s failing too. Exact same soil, exact same watering and sunlight…

any suggestions for how to get this blooming again?

No idea other than could it be the smaller plant is in a draught from the prevailing wind as it's almost on a corner.
You could try swapping the boxes over and see if that helps balance them out.
As you say, everything else is equal.

I don't know if it's a self-cleaning variety, but if not, the dead flower stems with pod remaining on the plant will cause it to stop flowering, so you need to pinch them out. Once it has produced seeds, it's job is done so it dies.

Try feeding with dilute tomato feed once every few weeks. Make sure the whole is draining away properly and that the roots are sitting in water. Also try swapping the boxes around and see what happens.

The leaves look fine. Are you dead heading? (Taking off the spent blooms).
