Cherry leaf damage

Many leaves on a cherry tree show damage, and now similar (maybe not identical) damage is on adjacent apple tree.
I don't see any sign of pests or other damage. Doesn't look like the 'shot' holes I see people often describe. Front and back shots of the cherry leaves, and one of the apple leaves.
Thoughts?
