Pyracantha problem

Xen.Xen. Posts: 81
It flowered with enthusiasm, but now the berries are tiny and wizened - is this just a lack of water?
Plants fairly near to it in the border are all behaving normally, and the pyracantha's leaves are fresh and green - what can have happened?

@Xenobia The berries can look a little wizened just after flowering, they are just starting to develop.

I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

I'm sorry, I didn't explain it properly.    We have a couple of pyracanthas, and the others (one is the same cultivar)  are doing very well -  the berries are just starting to expand - but the one I was wittering about isn't doing anything like well.  No signs of infestation or anything; good leaves - but the berries aren't going to happen this year :(
