Plant ID from GW Live

I thought these two were the same plant (as in the actual individual) but I don't think they are after all. Anyway these weren't labelled and I quite like them, what are they please?  I don't need to know the exact variant but just the plant.  Are they likely to stay as short as they currently are?  Everything I grow always seems to end up way taller than I'd planned, I seem to struggle choosing low growers.

  • I'm NO expert, but I'm guessing a type of Salvia?

I have a very similar plant, Salvia nemorosa Sensation Rose. Mine's about 12" high, but the soil here is poor and sandy, and it's only in its 2nd year. It might get taller on more moist, richer soil.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Definitely one of the salvias; I have a similar one called caradonna pink inspiration.

It does look very like "Sensation Rose", l would say the tallest it would get is around 18 inches, mine are around a foot tall.

I didn't even think of a salvia! Excellent, thanks.
