@LeadFarmer it looks beautiful, I love that you can walk between the border and the hedge, must feel like a secret garden from that side

Thanks, I created it that way so I can still cut the hedge and then mow up the cuttings. Didn't want then falling into the border.

Great to see the progress and I love the colour scheme.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

@LeadFarmer The beautiful lemon flowers in your photo are Cephalaria gigantea.More commonly known as Lemon Scabious. It's a mouthful like many Latin names. If you dig some up and pass to friends it will be helpful. Could be related to cornflowers but not sure.
I was given a book of Latin plant names by a lady I worked for didn't see the need at first but then realised just how important it is understood by everyone no matter where they are in the World.
Your colour schemes are lovely even if by chance!

Thanks Sue, yes you are correct, scabious, thanks.

I started with one plant rescued from a school that was digging up a border to build an extension. I've lifted and divided it over the years into what you see in the photo, and I have more plants potted up with nowhere to put them :)

I already had them in the garden when I moved into this house in 2007, again I lifted and divided them over the years and now have spares potted up that I need to give away. I don't know the variety, I assume Johnsons Blue but can't say for sure.
