Ammi majus snapped - is it doomed?

The umbel on one of my ammi majus snapped and without thinking I just pulled it off. It was only after doing so I realised it might not produce another! Is this the case? thanks for reading 😊

They are multi stemmed, so it'll produce more branching stems from below that point.
It'll look best if you nip it off neatly down to the next leaf joint though  :)

    Nae bother  ;)
Nice plants for the summer garden. I collected seed from mine last year - a variety called Casablanca, but no luck with germination as yet.
    It's a good doer though.  :)

It was a very useful plant last year. I'll probably just buy fresh seed again.  :)

One of my favourite films, so it was a no brainer when I had to choose one  ;)

Love that film too @Fairygirl .  I was given a spare ammi a couple of years ago and now find it self seeds.  Oddly, this year there are no plants in the original site - I suspect OH's indiscriminate weeding technique is to blame - but I have a couple in other beds this year.   Always buzzing with insects.   Lovely plants.
