How best to plant plectranthus

I have brought plectranthus today and wondered what is best for them. I have potted them in small containers at the moment in nearly full sunlight but unsure what is best for them? Liked the unusual look of them for my garden 🪴

They're tender, so you'll need somewhere for them over winter - earlier unless you're in a frost free part of the country.
Many are grown as houseplants as far as I'm aware. There are various types.

  • Thank you these are outside ones?

They can go outside in summer. It's later on that the problem arises, as with any tender, or half hardy plant.  :)
Not something I grow though. You'd need to check the cultural instructions for the variety you have.

Hope the strawberry does well. They're very straightforward  :)
Very odd that you have no info with the plectranthus though.

I think of Plectranthus as a houseplant here in the UK. You can give some house plants a 'holiday' outside at this time of year. I have a spider plant outside at the moment which is lovely cascading down the side of a pot. If it gets very windy or cold It will be back inside.Even in June.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

The Range isn't a garden centre though, so you'll have to do some research, and maybe wait until you can ID the type you have, and then proceed from there.  :)
