Help with resited rhodedendron

Hi i moved a largish rhodedendron last night. Didnt have to cut through any large roots etc. replanted immediately and really watered it in. Rewatered it well again this morning. However its really wilting today. Basically im asking will it live! 🙈 and what should i do to care for it? Thanks

You've upset the balance between the roots and the leaves so the roots can no longer keep all those leaves hydrated.
It'll take time to re-grow the roots, so in the mean time you'll have to loose most of leaves.
It'll re-sprout strongly when it's settled in.
Keep it well watered and it should be fine.
PS - it's not the large roots the plant needs so much - they're for stability - it's the tiny hair-like roots the plant gets its water and food from
