Height of type of conifer
Hi all, I have attached a photo to this question.
I don’t know if it’s going to be a hate that I have to deal with but these are an eye saw when I come into the garden as you can see there is 3 all different heights but they block light from the garden to an extend but they are really over baring.
would you suggest asking the neighbours to cut these back or do we not have any right over this?
I don’t think these should be planter in gardeners the height of them, this one at the front is close to about 15-16ft tall.

If they are, they can certainly be cut back and will regrow - many, most, conifers don't grow when cut back to brown wood.
However, your neighbours may not take kindly to your request. The alternative is to create a decent sized border, and grow something attractive on your side of the fence.
Shade from those doesn't mean there aren't any plants which will grow there.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
