Wayward Cosmos

I swear I did not plant a cosmos in the hanging basket…. Some careful extrication needed here I think. The basket was turned the other way, so just found this now when I watered.

Just what I love about gardening the unexpected!

I'd leave it. If it's a dwarf it might look good?

I have a feeling it may not be “dwarf” I only planted tall ones….. if I manage to get some roots out I’ll pop it in a pot and see what I get.

Might look rather strange if it is a tall one!

Found another one in a pot of succulents. I’m wondering if the birds perhaps dropped them. I threw some old seed compost around the conifers and I noticed the sparrows had a great time pecking out some stuff… could explain the strange places they have cropped up.
