Raspberry's Advise

Early last year i planted some late fruiting raspberry's in this bottomless planter. This year they have shot up and are bushed together, do i need to thin these out or will they be alright bushed together. I'm new at growing fruit.

    I don't think thinning out is needed for fruiting at this stage and have had raspberry fruiting well with no interference, but in future years you could take out some of the older stems when you can see there are fresh ones to replace them.

    The Autumn Raspberries will grow bushy like this every year with no need to thin. As they fruit on this years growth, apposed to summer fruiting plants that fruit on last years stems, they all fruit and then die back this year, meaning in February you cut back to the ground all the canes making room for new growth @Voyagerxp Mine look just the same so it looks like they should fruit well this year.😁

    I agree with @purplerallim ... they look fine ... just remember they get thirsty and need lots of water to make juicy fruit.   :)
