I'd rather feed a drowned rodent to the hawks, possums, raccoons, gray foxes, stray cats, and other scavengers that roam my neighborhood than have a poisoned rodent being eaten by those animals; but I'm also not opposed to using poison if necessary. I'm not making judgment calls on what people need to do to protect their health, their pets, their children, and their homes.

I have the luxury of not having to make that choice because I don't have a rodent problem in our current home.

After we discovered a snap-trap with a chewed-off leg in it, we stopped using them.
