Is this black spot on my rose?

Hey all, this is my first rose. It's David Austin "Roald Dahl" grown from bare root, planted in April this year.
Are the markings on the leaves black spot? Or some other kind of mildew fungus perhaps? Not sure how best to deal with it, any rose growers have some advice?
Currently watering and feeding with care not to wet the leaves but I imagine they could get splashed now and then. Many thanks.
