Tall daisies

I keep seeing beautiful tall daisies on grass verges in the countryside. Does anyone know what they are? I want some for my cottage garden! I found some on Sarah Raven but they are only 45cm tall so they must be a smaller variety.

They are the common dog daisy, see below. Easily grown from seed which you could collect a few from the roadside when they are ripe or buy from a wild flower seed company.

Easy from seed. Almost too easy  ;)

I'd love to know how they get all their wildflowers to grow from seed when plenty of us have failed!

Ox eye daisies are one of the easiest plants to grow from seed. Just sow some in a tray, and plant out when they're big enough. They'll seed everywhere.
