Strange white eggs in soil? Any ideas.

    In a patch like that they're probably slug or snail eggs ... I'd put them on a birdtable or somewhere the birds can find them.

    That's GREAT to hear - I was digging out some home made compost this morning and found several clutches of exactly the same eggs - thinking it may be some endangered species I carefully moved them to the adjacent compost bin 🤣

    Well .., they help to make compost … might as well make the blighters work for you. 🐌 

    Just sieve the compost thoroughlybefore  mulching with it.

    True - I'll have to remember not to use it as a mulch for my strawberries :)

  • I should've realised actually as before I started digging in the area I picked up a large snail.
