Sunflower question

Hello.
My son has planted (with my help) over 300 sunflowers of mixed varieties. I'm a total newbie.
My question is. What can we do with these? Can we sell them for bouquet? Are these useful to someone in food industry?

I'm really lost on what we are going to do with them.

The birds will eat the seeds, you could too if you can be bothered to shell them, lol! I just pick at mine when I grow them.

You don’t have to do anything with them if you don’t want to.

You can watch the developing flower follow the sun as it tracks across the sky … then when the flower is open it will stop tracking the sun and it will always face eastwards to the dawn.

You can enjoy watching the bees pollinate them and then the fading of the flowers and the development of the seeds. Then the birds will come and eat some of the seeds … and some of the seeds will drop to the ground and at night little woodmice will come and take the seeds to their winter stores. Then the sunflower plants will die.

But next year some seeds that fell to the ground and didn’t get eaten will germinate and grow …

… and you and your son will have learned so much together. 🌻
