Tips on rhubarb, if you'd be so kind

We bought this 2 years ago, had it in a pot until this spring when we planted it in this lovely, moist corner. As you can see it's very happy! Advice we've seen is not to pick for the first year, but we're wondering what, if anything, we should do with it right now. Got a Rheum Palmatum further along from it, the leaves on this rhubarb are almost the same size! 😁

    Keep it watered if we get a dry spell. If it flowers, cut the flower spike off at the base. Otherwise leave it be until it dies back in the autumn, then give it a heavy mulch and plan for crumble
