L*dl value fertiliser!

NollieNollie Posts: 7,529
Just a heads-up, as the text is in English I assume available in the UK..

At €2.99 for 700g I though this was good value. NPK is 5-3-8, I will be using at as an all-round fertiliser boost for flowering plants.

Two spelling errors and one typo on the same page. They clearly use budget advertising companies.

Google translate was set to AMERICAN English again!😂

No, vegatables, consious and ist. Very shoddy. I was ambivalent about the American spelling of fertiliser.

@nollie, does it have chicken pallets? I would like to switch to organic fertilizer but I have a resident fox in garden.

Yes yes, the German SM’s translations are highly amusing 🙄 but doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad product. I don’t even know if it’s available in other countries, just highlighting in case it is. Don’t know about elsewhere but fert seems very thin on the ground here and can only go up in price so I’m grabbing what I can when I can!

@fidgetbones and @newbie77, well it’s brown granules, the 60% ‘organic content’ is of animal manure origin and smells a bit chicken manure-ish so it probably is, like many organic ferts. NPK the usual  - free nitrogen, rock phosphate and sulfate of potash. No trace minerals listed, so not a complete fert like DA rose feed Newbie (which I believe is also CM based) more a tomorite type boost.

    .
    NPK is 5-3-8,

It is very low in major plant nutrients, Growmore is 7-7-7 and that was introduced by the government during the last war as the standard to grow crops on farms!

  • For 3 Euros its got to be worth a go..5-3-8 is OK for veg growing.
