Majesty(?) Palm poorly...move outdoors?

We have a large palm indoors placed in a dead spot between a wndow and wall on an upstairs landing. It often looks quite ill with yelowing and brown leaves.
It also grows fast and gets in the way of a nearby doorframe so I would like to move
it outside (and replace with a chest of drawers for storage space).
Would it survive?
