Clematis not opening

Hi everyone!

I am hoping someone here could help/give me some advice! :)

I am fairly new to gardening and just started this hobby a few years ago. I have this clematis that hasn’t been fully opening since I first got it a few years ago. I got it as a young plant before any blooms had appeared. I haven’t added any type of fertilizer or plant fed to it, do you think that may help? Please let me know your thoughts! Thanks in advance! <3

Some feed for flowering plants such as slow release granules of clematis, rose or tomato fertiliser would certainly help and maybe also a good drink laced with liquid rose or tomato fertiliser.

That said, some clematis do have crinkly, curly petals.  Do you know which one it is?  There are thousands of named clematis out there now so no good us trying to guess.
