Sweet Williams attacked

Can anyone tell me what caused this damage to Sweet William leaves please? Is it the white bug on the left hand leaf?  Should I remove just affected leaves or dispose of the entire affected plants?

    It looks like leaf spot to me ie fungal. The wet weather we have been having won't have helped, as damp conditions makes it worse. Not sure what you can do, except remove the affected leaves, maybe thin them out to reduce chances of over-crowding.

    I sympathise - I have given up trying to grow any kind of Dianthus, as they have all succumbed. Let's hope for some sun.
