I have never seen a spider like this.
it is on a rose.
do you know what it is please ?

That's Sid the Spider. I'd recognise him anywhere.

A crab spider, I believe.

It is a female crab spider, Misumena vatia. They can vary their colour to yellow or greenish. The males are quite different in appearance.
