Canna Virus

Hi all, I’ve checked out a few canna lily virus posts but am still unsure on this one. Quite drastic distortion and the first image seems to have only sprouted the midrib! Many thanks in advance for any comments.

    Update! I’ve seen these insects before but first time on my cannas, I can only imagine they are a type of spider mite? Sorry for the bad photo - black/brown body, reddish head/legs. Can anyone confirm / could they really affect my cannas that badly if it’s not a virus?! Thanks again

    @iLoveExotics There is alot of spider mite at the moment if you squash one it looks like blood on your finger.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    @Hostafan1 has experience of virus in cannas … hopefully he’ll see this and pop in …
