Can anyone tell me what this is please? It reminds me of a salvia 🤔

    If it's a salvia the leaves will be scented. Have you tried crushing one and smelling it?
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    It reminds me a little of a Nepeta (catmint).

    I wondered if it was Anaphalis but I have only posted this as a last resort.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    I not sure if the leaves are quite right though.
