Labyrinths remind me of those queues to passport control but I’m following this thread because I like to see an ambitious project to the end. Take the kids to a maize maze and they will love it especially the ones where they have to find clues in there. These fields are huge though, I wouldn’t want to dedicate space to that or even a quarter of that.

Cecelia, I think Bunny Guinness videos should really be your first port of call - I think you have similar visions, budget, space, family and grand ambition. She only has a year of vids on Youtube and is careful about her topics. A qualified landscape architect, she designed her own garden, has won gold medals as a Chelsea designer, is a panellist on BBC Gardeners' Question Time, designed spaces at Highgrove and Thyme and another notable gardens.

She is bold and careful, experimental, immensely practical, social and very knowledgable. I find her an inspiration.

She planted all her hedges herself. I would say there is absolutely the equivalent of a maze, just spread out over acres.
