What plant is this? I thought it might be bearded Iris, but I think that's not right. They've come up lovely this year, because I've had to chance prune early, and clear brambles, which actually revealed corms underneath. In previous years, we've had one only, with just one year where we had 2 blooms, but this year we've had about 15 blooms, and it looks great.

Thanks for the input guys. It does look very much like pseudocorus & it also has the characteristic ridge down the centre of the leaf. On checking, it seem it is quite an invasive plant, so whilst I really like this year's display (up from 1 to 15 blooms), I don't want it to get too populated. Should I be deadheading after it has bloomed, to stop it going to seed. I also have a Hemerocallis (Day Lily) which I'm wondering about too. Should I be deadheading this too, for the same reason?
