Dying turf

Hi All

Wondering if someone could help, we put down the turf two months ago everything was fine with it, watered in the beginning every day until it rooted down and now started to go all patchy and dying... Any recommendations what should I do?
I tried lawn feed but didn't seem to do the trick, I might be missing something?

Thanks in advance

Assuming the ground was properly prepped, it needs some decent spells of rain.  :)
It's never a good idea to feed at that stage, although I can understand why you did that.

If you're not getting sufficient rainfall - a few hours of steady rain every couple of days or so, you need to water thoroughly. That means an hour or two every few days, not light watering every day.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Yes needs more water.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
