    The white one is a Potentilla by the look of it's stems, but it's hard to see the foliage because the photo's too blurry. I wouldn't describe their foliage as like heather though.

    @buddyandmorse I think the second could be Veronica Crater Lake Blue.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
