Growing off a log

Slow-wormSlow-worm Posts: 1,630
I cut down a struggling passion flower and put the logs in the little pond, and they're all sprouting. Do I just bury the logs in the ground like a root? They're about 1.5 - 2 inches in diameter.

Leave the top most sprouts out of the ground, might work. Nothing to lose.
How can you lie there and think of England

That was my thinking punkdoc, I used to give my horses willow branches, and leave them around after they'd eaten the leaves - they'd sprout on the ground after a bit of rain, but I never planted one.
