A different wreath.

This was taken at a crematorium in Dorset.

That's rather nice and very individual.

It seems such a shame when someone has gone to the trouble of doing something appropriate like that only to have it put on their compost heap tonight.

I brought the flowers home from my parents services,  split them up and gave them to the girls.  I feel it’s an awful shame to dump these every night.

We had sheafs of flowers for my Aged Ps sendings off … and after the ‘event’ the undertaker made them up into vases and took them  to the Lovely Home where they’d been cared for so well.

I took home the wreath from my fathers funeral and split it into vases. The flowers lasted for weeks and mum really appreciated them. I think it’s such a shame when a lot of flowers are simply left to rot.

For my wedding I had a basket of flowers rather than a bouquet so it could be taken to give to my grandmother who could not come to France.

I think the wreath with veggies is great if the person was a gardener, so appropriate and probably brought a lot of smiles to those attending.
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.
