Can I save my sunflowers?!?

Hello and help- my sunflowers got sprayed with too strong a solution of soap and are suffering. Can I save them? Will they recover? Is all hope lost?

    Why were you spraying them with soap ? Did they have greenfly ?
    If you could post a photo that would help      :)
