Hello, I am hoping someone can help me identify what is causing this problem with just one leaf on my peace lily.

Thanks in advance.

Hello @MrsSaunders and welcome to the forum. 😊

Could that leaf have been closer to the window and caught some really strong sunlight?

It could be overwatering, or just the leaf dying off naturally. I've got a big peace lily and every so often have to remove a ropey looking older leaf or two.

Thank you @Loxley. The plant had been overwatered (by my other half) and we have since divided and repotted it after that I noticed the scales. I will remove the rogue leaf as every other one appear to be healthy and it is in bloom😊
  • @Dovefromabove, it was on a window shelf so possibly. It is been removed now. Thank you 😊
