Losing the bindweed battle!

Hi, I have a fairly large lawn ~100m2, and after ‘no mow May’ have noticed that there’s bindweed sprouting through about half of it! I dig it out of my flower beds, but manual removal would be enormously time consuming with so much of it, and as it’s really threaded through the grass I’m not sure I could do it without digging up a lot of turf. Is there any way to remove or reduce it without killing my lawn/ my sanity?

keep mowing it is your best option. It probably won't kill it but it'll weaken it and slow it down. It'll keep coming up in your flower beds though

You could try the canes and weedkiller method. Even that will be a long haul if there's a lot of it

A tip I've just heard in another thread is to stake it then use glyphosate carefully on the weed that will wrap around the stake.
