Hey there,
Can anyone help with determining what’s wrong with my pear tree? Some leaves on two branches have turned black and I’ve discovered on each branch a crusted black scar. I’ve attached pictures.

Is there an solution to remedy this or mitigate it? Thank you!

It could be the start of fireblight.
Some info here from the RHS

But I'm guessing really, so try and confirm before taking any drastic action
I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's not :)

    Thank you @Pete.8

I don’t see the symptoms of blossoms wilt and slime oozing from infections.

Although I may still cut back the two concerning branches - better safe than sorry.
