Anemone De Caen and St Brigid in pots

mchuamchua Posts: 210
Both of these are starting to show now, one just fully opened.  I’ve never seen anemone’s of any kind before. They are beautiful.

They are in pots.  I’d definitely like to transfer these into my border when the time is right.

What is the correct aftercare to go about doing this?

I know I’m always asking questions on here but y’all really help me out a lot, so thanks!

You can plant them out at any time really, when they're already potted. Probably best to wait until they've finished flowering though.
A sunny spot and good drainage. I can't keep them going here, as I don't have enough suitable sites, but they're fairly straightforward in the right spot.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Ok.  Is it best to deadhead them too?
