Please Id this fragrant yellow flowering shrub

It must be very drought tolerant because it’s in a thin border right be the fence and still grown big. I think it’s evergreen too. It’s fragrant so I’m trying it out as a cut flower - is it a type of sage?

I've never noticed fragrance from mine, I'll have a good sniff in the morning

Thank you @Hostafan1, that sounds about right. It smells sweet @nutcutlet , like a sweet alyssum. I’ve probably pruned it at the wrong time previously. I’m going to try deadheading it this year and see how long it flowers for and then tidy it up. It’s a useful shrub for a sunny spot.

I was very sensitive to the tiny hairs it has. Caution when pruning , or wear a mask?

I’ve noticed the fine dust from it when cutting it for a vase. Thanks for the word of caution. Maybe prune after a rainfall?
