Oleander in pot

ki_buxtki_buxt Posts: 63
This oleander has been in a warm cellar all winter (I am in Norway). It had green leaves when I began to put it outside last week. Leaves are now dead. It does this every year and kinds of recovers. But it is looking especially sad right now. Should I prune it? Give it some tomato feed? Help!!

I would take it out of the pot[wear gloves] check the roots are alive. It does look large for the pot.  If all ok a larger pot and fresh compost.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

Cannot help re advice to revive your shrub....only ever seen it it growing in warm, hot countries.

    Beware.
Very poisonous./lethal.....do not burn any of it...smoke is toxic.

People have died by using the wood for skewers to cook food.etc etc etc

"All parts of the nerium oleander are poisonous, primarily due to the contained cardiac glycosides—that is, oleandrin, nerin, digitoxigenin, and olinerin of which oleandrin is the principal toxin. The bark also contains rosagenin which has strychninelike actions."

"Oleander (Nerium oleander) is a common ornamental evergreen shrub. It is used as a freeway median divider in warmer states, such as California. This plant is extremely toxic, and a single leaf may kill an adult."
