I've grown some cosmos from seed, apparently fizzy purple (first pic), which should grow to about 1-1.2m. The first of these has flowered despite still being very little and... I'm not at all convinced this is the same plant! 
It is beautiful though, so I can live with it, but I have no idea how tall it's going to grow and whether I'm going to need to rearrange my planting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I just about still have time to grow some other cosmos from seed, so I'd rather know sooner than later if these ones are just going to get lost where they are. I'm hoping someone might recognise the variety...

It says they grow to around 4 foot, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
