Patience rewarded

Back in October 2018 my MIL was going to throw this plant out. I had no idea what it was, so asked on the forum, and was told it was a peony.


Following the advice I was given, I planted it out, and by May 2020 it looked like this.



This year, it looks like this.

@ren.b I think you were asking about white peonies, this might inspire you. I don't know exactly which variety it is, but someone thought it might be "Shirley Temple"

    It may indeed be that one. It has those dark 'flecks' in the middle.  :)
    Mine is Duchesse de Nemours. The whites are all quite similar though. Too early for mine to be flowering yet, but really glad that has worked out so well for you, and is looking splendid    :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Oh Wow, that is gorgeous, I've planted mine, looks really happy - will take a photo tomorrow, don't think it will flower this year though.
