What 'shrooms?

A few of these popped up next to the garlic and onions. No, I'm not planning to fry them up, just wondering if anyone might know what they are? Common or garden fungi? Not that you can see it properly cos the bloody picture won't rotate 😒

My mushroom book has dozens of little brown jobs like that. The nearest that I can find is Conocybe ochracea.

Do you live in Essex by any chance?
Not even close, I'm in Liverpool.

I thought it might be Common Conecap - Conocybe tenera. https://www.first-nature.com/fungi/conocybe-tenera.php

  • Thanks both. Reading your link @steephill I'd go with that. They were very fragile when I picked them out, and looked exactly like the images. Cheers 😊
