Telling lies, punkdoc?! On the other thread- a grumpy opinion thread, btw- I quoted extensively from the exhibitor's own smug, self-congratulatory words and gave my own interpretation, which clearly differs from yours. Do you always get this upset when people disagree with you on fairly frivolous topics on hobby-related chat forums?

lots of folk get overly worked up when someone has an opinion with which they differ.
Oh dear I didn’t want to cause an argument here, just a healthy debate.
Actually I am very environmentally conscious in that I have 4 large water butts, three compost heaps and one for household waste. All I throw away is packaging, bottles and plastic for council recycling. I have Nasturtiums and Calendulas around my raised veg beds and I have a vast amount of pollinating plants so I am doing my best. My planting is very lose but I don’t want to give up my lawn because my grandchildren love it.
I am sure you know, there is a difference between opinions and telling lies. You stated twice, that the designers damaged Beaver dams to make their garden. The BBC coverage and interview with the designers, very clearly explained how they made the dam and it was not by damaging dams. Of course you could say it doesn't matter, but I think it does.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
You're doing your bit @LynfromSea. Let your grandkids enjoy the lawn, and carry on doing what you enjoy doing to the best of your ability and bank balance
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
