Plant identification

Can anyone help to identify what kind of plant this is and how to get rid of it please? It grows from the space between our neighbours conservatory and fence and is really invasive, fast growing and a right nuisance! It never flowers and despite constant cutting back it always grow back more vigorously than before.

    It's a Lonicera, possibly L. henryii.
It does flower, I can see the buds in the photo

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • They never come to anything, it always looks like that but it just generates more leaves! I left it alone for a while but the neighbour complained as it was creeping over his conservatory but during those 6 years no flowers…

Could you just enjoy it for it's lovely leaves? If not I would think to plant something else.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

If its on his side, its his plant.  Ask him if he would like it dosing with weedkiller.  Cut it down below the fence height , then give it a good spray with glyphosate.
