my calibrachoa
s are lagging from the root area out about 2 inches and the rest has blooms and stems are a live what can i do  to clean them up

    The wording of your query baffles me so I too would appreciate a photo to understand the problem.

    Hard to tell without a photo but it's a trailing sort of plant isn't it, usually sold as hanging basket plant? So I think it's probably just doing what it does - trailing stems that tend to be a bit bare, with the flowers towards the ends. You can plant them in baskets with something bushy in the middle to hide the straggly bits.

    These are my calibrachoa from last summer. I would describe them as no more than semi trailing. Perhaps the solution for Suzan is to bunch her plants together to obscure the bare stems.

    They look fab @BenCotto . How many plants did you have in the basket? (Impressive if it's just one :) ). There's so much flower on them you wouldn't know if the first 2 inches of stem were bare.
