    salix caprea. Goat willow. 
    Get rid otherwise you'll regret it.  :D

    You'd need a really big garden to accommodate it @Slow-worm.

    Our garden is 3 acres and I wouldn't want one ..... there are much nicer trees.

    But if you can get permission to plant it in a forest somewhere, then you'd be able to save it.

    My horse field landlord has had one growing next to an outhouse for years, it's gorgeous, and hasn't caused any bother (yet, lol), luckily he has land and loves trees - he's already had 3 of mine, lol! 
    There's no way it could go in my tiny garden, I'm already trying to get rid of a walnut, with every bit of guilt in my conscience, but it keeps sprouting.
