Nature's strength in spite of humans..

When we moved here, the little garden was a weed ridden gravel patch, with some raised beds and a mountain of bindweed covering hideously overgrown bushes. The year after, we found a little withered tree in a 9" pot hidden behind some shrubs, which had been there for at least 3-4 years, and planted it out, thinking it would die but wanting to give it a chance. That was 8 years ago, and this amazing specimen has rewarded us ever since with massive crops of beautiful cherries! (When I say 'us', I mean 'the birds', lol!!)
